Bread Rolls!
200g strong flour
5ml spoon salt
7g packet fast action dried yest
150ml warm water
5ml spoon salt
7g packet fast action dried yest
150ml warm water
Equipment
Mixing bowl, scales, measuring jug, baking tray, knife and cooling rack.
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220,C ,gas mark 7. Grease a backing tray.
2. Sieve the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
3. Add the yeast and sugar.
4. Add the water and mix into a soft dough.
5. Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
6. Divide the dough into 4 and shape into rolls.
7. Place the rolls on the greased baking tray.
8. Cover the rolls and allow to prove for 30 minutes.
9. Baking for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Puto
1. 2 cups of self-raising flour
2. 1 1/2 cups fresh milk
3. 2 eggs
4. 2 TBSP of butter
5. 1 tsp of salt
6. 1/2 cup sugar
7. small cubs of cheese
8. steamer
mix all the ingredients except the cheese, together
in a bowl, then fill in mould cups with cheese
steam for 30 minutes.
Chinese tea
On our Friday rotation we made Chinese tea. First we tried the stronger one which smelt like chocolate, but didn't taste like it. there were only three special cups and i got to use one! i didn't like the tea because there wasn't much flavor.
